Promoting Social Skills for Autism Students

Help me give my students the math, reading and interactive play materials such as blocks, play dough and letters to engage them in learning. These materials will support the Autism program to promote social interaction and sharing.

My Project

All students can learn through interactive engagement.

Our Autism students are inquisitive, happy and they love manipulatives.

The students will use the math numbers, number lines and counting activities, game boards, alphabet pieces and matching activities to build basic skills and promoting learning. Students will use the play dough, matching and color items as well as stem materials to reach their personal goals and promote social learning on a daily basis.

By using the hands-on materials our Autism students will be focused on problem solving and interaction with one another as well as the teacher.
