Promoting Social Emotional Learning in K-2

Help me give my students play incentives and Social Emotional Learning games like "Tower of Self-Esteem" that they can earn for desired behaviors across the school day.

My Students

My class is full of energetic, curious, and loving kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students who benefit from learning in a smaller classroom setting that is focusing on developing appropraite and safe school behavior, and developing early academic skills in small groups. This year my students are working on building a sense of community, learning to take care of themselves and others, working to manage their behaviors, and developing skills in the areas of reading, math and writing.

My students make everyday exciting and adventureous.

Their little personalities and big dreams make teaching them a fun challenge and rewarding experience.

My Project

The activities that are part of this project with help the teachers who work in my room promote positive social interactions among students in my room, reward students for making positive choices, and teach social emotional skills to my students are well. We are excited to keep growing socially, emotionally, and academic in this room the rest of the school year!
