My Project

I am a 3rd year teacher that wants to bring more books into the classroom that promote social/emotional awareness and skills. I work in a low income school where students do not have the home support to teach them the social and emotional skills they need to be successful. I want my classroom to have the books/book buddies needed to be successful and become a safe space for my students. Students are more prepared and engaged in their learning when they have their social and emotional needs met and supported at school.
