My Project
Our students face daily challenges that extend far beyond the classroom. Whether it's the stress of academic pressures, the impact of social media, or personal issues at home, these young minds carry a heavy emotional load. Now, more than ever, it's crucial to prioritize their mental health and well-being to ensure they succeed academically and grow into resilient, well-rounded individuals.
To better support our students' mental health, we seek resources to help create a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive.
The funds from this project will be used to provide:
1. Calm corner supplies: stress-relief tools, mindfulness coloring books and markers, and sensory items to create a designated space in the classroom where students can take a break, decompress, and manage their emotions.
2. Additional support materials for AP US History to help our students achieve higher AP Exam scores.
3. Basic school supplies so that students can focus on classroom studies rather than worrying about whether they can afford highlighters, notebooks, etc.
Supporting students' mental health is not just about addressing their emotional needs—it's about creating a foundation for lifelong success. By providing these resources, we give our students the tools they need to navigate their emotions, build resilience, and perform better academically.
