My Project
These resources will help support students in various subjects such as language arts, math, science, and social studies. I do my best to implement a variety of resources into the curriculum I am teaching. Students learn best when lessons are supported through hands-on learning and incorporate real-world experiences. A lot of students have missed out on a lot of learning from covid-19. They been learning virtually for about a year which means they did not get to explore curriculum through hands-on activities or interactions with others. I work at a Title I school so a lot of students do not have funds to access lots of materials or resources outside of what the school provides for them. I want these students to have a variety of resources when they are in school. I want them to explore fun hands-on activities and read books about real-world topics and why it is important. They can try activities they would not have thought they were able to do like create gummy candies which can tie in with science. They could explore and read through books about different cultures and why diversity is unique. During free time, they can do additional activities to support what they are learning in language arts and math such as practice making words and using the number line.
