Help me give my students the supplies to help their classmates feel better when they are sick. My school does not supply us with tissues so some of my students blow their noses with toilet paper. When my students feel sick they want a soft tissue to blow into. My students will give out these tissues to other teachers so many students can have access to them when sick. Right now it is covid and flu season so my students go through a lot of tissues.
When a student feels sick a cold drink of water and a granola bar makes them feel better.
The water will help soothe my student's throats and battle germs. It is easier for a student to fight off illness when their body is not hungry.
My students will make little care packages for their classmates with water and granola bars for when they are sick.
Bandaides are always needed when a child accidentally cuts themselves. The bandaids match my student's skin color which makes them feel seen.
All of these materials will be directly used to help sick students feel better.
