Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In kindergarten, students are eager to learn. They are learning about personal space and boundaries. They are learning about being safe, responsible, and respectful. Students at this age grasp concepts better when role-play is involved or when they are able to express their ideas through discussion, writing, or drawings.
These items, (such as journals and writing/drawing material) will help my students learn about and promote respect, responsibility, and safety at school.
It will help students discuss positive solutions for these issues and brainstorm iteas for possitive change. Students will develop/foster a sense of community, by expressing their ideas and feelings through journaling and artistic expression.
