My Project
Seeing the look of amazement when a kid sees their writing put to paper in black-and-white is beautiful sight to behold. They literally get to see proof of their success, their ability to write cohesive paragraphs, to state a claim and back it up with evidence, to write creatively when they see the "proof" in their printing.
When my students get to see their ideas and writing printed out in fully published format, every kids is wowed by how "professional" their stories or essays looks.
I want to be able to provide my students with a classroom printer and toner so they can easily print their written work. Any one of my kids could be the next Hemingway or Stephen King, and I'd love to support writing, proofreading and typing by encouraging students to print their final draft to be published.
