it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Join us in making a difference! Please contribute to our students' 3rd annual prom, supporting an alternative school and providing a memorable experience for our diverse population of students.
Your donation will help us build community and create cherished memories.
With our small school size it is hard for us to offer all the extra-curricular activities of our neighborhood schools, which causes our students to feel disconnected from one another. Our Prom helps to bring students together through planning, preparation, and enjoyment of the Prom. A handful of students have elected to take on the planning of this event and have hand-selected these decorations/ activities in hopes of a fun-filled night of community building. We aim to keep it affordable by only charging $5 per ticket and providing a free dinner at the school, to make this event incisive for all of our students. Help us break barriers and ensure every student has the chance to enjoy this special occasion.
