This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are getting ready to learn the life cycle of a plant. These projects will be used two ways.
One to teach the life cycle of a plant and the other is to give a flower to their mom for Mothers Day!
We will first grow a plant in the plastic cup and discuss about sprouts and roots. Then we will grow a flower as a gift and compare and contrast the two projects.
The puppets are to help get the kids excited about our fairy tale unit. This will help them become more fluent in reading.
