Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I hope to replace a projector that has burned out and is beyond repair. Budget cuts make it nearly impossible to introduce new technology into my classroom. Please help!
My students come from a mostly lower socioeconomic demographic, and many do not speak English at home.
Most of the students qualify for a free lunch, have limited resources at home, and stay at school until the early evening because of their hard working parents who are trying to make it. Our school does its best to inspire the kids and bring the curriculum to life. But the challenges of limited budgets and language barriers make that mission difficult.
My Project
Technology is vital in today's professional world. Having a projector will help students to learn visually and understand precisely about math and science lessons. Students will use the projector to share steps and rationale with their classmates. Sometimes, a complicated mathematical formula or the results of a chemical reaction are best understood when explained to their peers. In addition, the projector will be paired with our classroom iPad to show online pictures, videos, and student generated research notes with the class.
A projector is a staple of many professional board rooms in Fortune 500 companies.
It needs to be a part of the modern classroom. It is essential to give math and science access to our visual learners. Please help support my effort to acquire one. Chase please help. Thank you all in advance.
