Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I have a class full of vibrant, joyful and inquisitive fifth graders. They are anxious about learning, especially when it comes to current events and world affairs. My students enjoy talking about politics, history, science and math. They are also independent thinkers and learners who soak up everything we discuss in class. Not only are they the amazing scholars, they are also amazing little citizens. They cooperate with each other and genuinely want to make a difference in their community.

My Project

The projector I am requesting will be used in the classroom to project powerpoint lessons, educational videos/clips/movies, etc. With the projector my students will have an easier time with note-taking. The projector allows my presentations to be projected big and bright for all my kids to see, even the kids in the back of the classroom. Projecting presentations is much easier and less time consuming than writing notes live. The projector will also allow students to create and share their presentations with the class. My current projector is very old and on its last leg.
