Projector in the Laboratory

My students need access to an LCD projector in the laboratory of my class.

My Students

My students are in an urban school district that is facing many budget challenges. One thing that we lack funds for is a projector in the laboratory so that the students can enhance their laboratory with visual simulations.

My students attend an urban high school in Northern Illinois.

The students that I teach are in the Gifted Academy of the school district. The Academy is located in one of the traditional high schools that is in the district. The students in the Academy come from various ethnic backgrounds and attend a school that is 75% free or reduced lunch.

My Project

The projector will change the education of my students by allowing them to have access to technology in the laboratory while they are performing labs. The projector will allow the students to have access to information that is relevant to their labs posted on the overhead screen. Also it will allow them to view simulations of the lab while they perform it.
