This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I'm a special education teacher and I teach a PCC class that celebrates inclusion. My students spend their day with their typically developing peers. My classroom is about building skills to get included. The work we do in this classroom is accessing general education content in different ways. Many of my students are English language learners and have a range of communication disabilities and delays in language. In my class, we believe in positive behavior support and try our best to meet the needs of each individual child. We celebrate little wins together each day. The majority of my students come from low-income households, so your donations make a huge difference in their learning.
My Project
Our classroom needs a Projection Screen to display lesson and learning videos. The matte white viewing surface easily rolls down and comes equipped with an auto locking feature so we can easily adjust the height for our students. This screen is lightweight and durable; making it perfect for our young learners. In our classroom we have students with different learning styles and we do our best to present lessons to meet the needs of each individual child. This screen will help us in meeting our goal. We are also asking for a laptop bag to help keep our classroom laptop protected. Thank You for considering to donate to my project.
