My students need a projector in the art room to be able to view examples of art and DVD's about the artists, cultures, and time periods we are studying.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help us expand our art possibilities with a projector. The Internet is full of images of all kinds of artwork that I could show to my students.
My students are full of energy and creativity.
They attend an overcrowded school where over 90% of the students receive free lunch. Most of my students are bilingual and benefit from having more visuals and images to help their understanding. My classes range from first grade to eighth grade.
My Project
The art room has only a limited supply of posters and art reproductions. While the school has a few projectors for teachers to check out, it's never a guarantee if you will get it for the day you need it. Having as many classes as I do, I need it almost every day. With this projector, I can have it every time I need it to show images to students.
My students do not often have the opportunity to explore the world of art or travel.
This projector will give my students access to a limitless amount of art images from the artists, cultures, and time periods we are studying.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
