Projecting Our Future

My students need a projector lamp so we can continue interactive learning with our Promethean Board.

My Students

The lamp in the projector for out promethean board has been overheating for two years. It will automatically turn off every 5-10 minutes, always when the students are in the middle of a task. The bulb is going to burn out completely any day. This bulb will give us uninterrupted use of the projector.

My students are awesome!

They are middle school, inner-city, public school kids with a lot of personality. Each and every one of them comes to school with a desire to learn and succeed, but they often face many challenges in their difficult lives. My students work hard to be better citizens and earn their way to high school and college.

My Project

The Promethean Board is one of our most useful classroom links to technology. From watching CNN Student news, to interactive lesson activities using ActivInspire, the Promethean board brings learning alive. I am able to walk students through using a new website, project a graphic organizer and write directly onto it during class, and display their ClassDojo (behavior) reports. The Promethean Board really is a useful tool!
