Projecting in a Hub!

Help me give my students a Portable Smart Projector to help my students learn while in a hub.

My Students

My classroom is affected by the coronavirus pandemic because the school serves a diverse, low-income population with 98% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch and many students speak other languages. My students are resilient and hardworking. They are excited and inquisitive, which makes a great match for success.

Many of my students do not have many supplies.

I am now using Zoom and Microsoft Teams to teach, connect, and listen to the many challenges that they are experiencing while at home during this pandemic. I really want to make learning engaging for my students. I want the students to be excited about coming to class during our face-to-face sessions.

My Project

This school year is a very trying time. The teachers are in hubs this school year, and the teachers who share students must move to the different hubs to teach. The hub that I have to share has a broken Promethean Board, and it is a very difficult task to teach without the technology.

The KODAK Luma 350 Portable Smart Projector will help me make lessons more engaging and visible for my ESOL students while teaching skills that they need.

The travel case will protect the projector as I move to a different hub. Make this project a reality for my students so that learning will be engaging and exciting to them as they move through this school year.
