This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am inspired every day by the curiosity and energy my students bring to the classroom. They are eager to learn about the world around them and how they can make a difference as informed citizens. However, traditional civics materials often fail to capture their imagination or meet their diverse learning needs.

With your support, we will use these resources to spark a love for learning and civic engagement.

Graphic adaptations of the U.S. Constitution and pocket guides will make challenging concepts accessible and exciting, while USB microphones will empower students to create podcasts and presentations, amplifying their voices as they discuss real-world issues. These tools will not only build critical thinking and communication skills but also inspire my students to become active participants in their communities.
