This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year I have 24 Kindergarten students, 5 years old. In whole-group instruction, students are introduced to the subject matter but retention really happens in small groups. Small group instruction is our school's focus.
Items such as pocket charts and small group-based activities help me achieve the efficiency of small group instruction on a day-to-day basis.
This year I have children with Autism, ELD learners, students who struggle with fine motor skills like cutting and writing, and students who are well below or below grade level. My students are loving, high energy, and love to participate.
