Help me give my students the energy to make it through the day with the proper nutrition and energy!!

My Project

These snacks will provide over 500 6th and 7th graders a little pick me up for the day! We all know students work harder and learn better when their basic needs are met. My goal for this project comes down to helping students learn without the nagging feeling of hunger throughout the day. Our students are required to participate in a lot of physical activity. These activities oftentimes leave them hungry and cranky. My hope is to alleviate some of these issues with a small snack.

We will distribute these snacks to each of our students in the morning.

Then, students may choose the best time to eat them. Our students are at a unique moment in their lives. They are growing and changing rapidly. These rapid changes require more calories to sustain them until regular meal times.
