My Project
These items, especially the books, will allow me to talk with and work with students who struggle to be inclusive or understand the social and emotional impact of their words and actions.
The workbooks are especially important for students who struggle to understand why what they are doing is harmful to others in the room.
I have been looking for workbooks to use as I have found it helpful to have students reflect on their actions and impact on others in a physical, but private manner.
The games are a great way to build upon the lessons learned from the workbooks and other tools. It allows the students to interact with others and grow in their understand of and connection to those who are different from themselves.
