Help me give my students some fun outdoor activities for them to enjoy during their recess time. The playground equipment will help them learn to collaborate with teamwork with their friends & peers, instead of getting into trouble.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 6th-grade students are curious, resilient, and full of energy. They come to school each day ready to learn, work hard, and support one another even when faced with challenges inside and outside the classroom. Many come from underserved communities and do not always have access to resources that allow them to play, explore, and build social-emotional skills outside of academics. Despite this, they consistently show up with tenacity and enthusiasm.
Providing them with safe, engaging playground equipment such as an Obstacle Course Ring Set, 4 Pieces Sports Scooter Board with Handles, 4 Pcs Playing Run Mat, and Sports Volleyballs will not only give them a much-needed outlet for movement and creativity but will also support their mental and emotional well-being.
