This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the first KIPP NYC school and the second KIPP school in the nation, KIPP Academy helped define KIPP’s mission. Since 1995, we’ve dedicated ourselves to excellence, teaching our students the academic and character strengths needed for success in college, and in life. For years, we’ve consistently been ranked as one of the highest performing middle schools in the Bronx, proving to the students and the community that demographics are not destiny.
I provide small group instruction to our exceptional learners and support in our ELA classes.
My lessons always include visual components to help differentiate learning and a projector that is new and functioning will help support my students' learning. Schools all over NYC have been hit with budget cuts and we are not an exception, any donation would help!
