My Project

It's imperative for early childhood students to have a break in their day where they are able to nap and relax to recharge their brains for learning more. However, it is also true that some student's bodies and brains are wired for GO GO GO. How can we bridge the gap between the needs of both groups of students?

Enter, the quiet time solution.

Quiet time is when the students who can sleep, will do so in one area while the students who cant or wont sleep can be allowed to explore in other ways that wont stop the other students from slumbering.

In our class, we are in need of more soft and quiet toys for our non-nappers to use. Wooden blocks get thrown, foam toys get eaten and damaged. This is why we have asked for silicon or fabric toys to use in these instances, so that all children can get what they need out of their time with us.
