Back only one or so generations ago, latchkey kids were the norm. Many of us were home for hours on end until our parents returned from work. Now, however, the vast majority of families are turning away from this model, and finding safer alternatives for their children during the few hours between school ending and the work day ending. As a result, after-school clubs and activities are growing fast! Students will benefits from the requested items as thy are being used to help supports them after school, and a few in the classroom to keep our classroom neater when things get chaotic.
Help me give my students a hodgepodge of items including snacks, storage solutions for the snacks like a small refrigerator and caddy, and care package items to benefit our afterschool activities.
The students will eat the snacks, and those that are left I can store on the caddy to display for students in need. Additionally, we will use some items to create care packs for girls who need them anonymously. The bag will be for our large gift set for a girl in need, and the plastic liners are to be used for protecting the desks and carpets from clay and glue used in our calming station.
