My Students

The majority of my students came in not knowing any of the letter names and sounds, how to count, and have very little social skills. At this point in the year, we are really focusing on ALL the letter names and sounds, know how to count to 20, and are preparing to start READING!

Our school is a Project Base Learning school as of this year.

With is being new, I am going to be purchase projects that I can use in my class through Teacher Pays Teacher. These projects will be geared toward kindergarten age level students.

While I am super excited for this new format, creating projects is very time consuming. I would rather me time go toward my students and use pre-made projects. This is the gift card for Teacher Pay Teacher will be used.

I love teaching! I love seeing my student learn and grow. Teaching is one of the most reward careers out there. I am truly blessed. My students are AMAZING!

My Project

What type of material can a little pig build a house from that will withstand the wolf blowing the house down? Students will actually participate in building with straws, toothpicks, Lincoln log, etc. a blow dryer will help to test the strength. All along way, students are learning Amy about characters and settings.

This is the current project we are doing in our class.

These funds will help with fund project ideas just like this. Students will learn hands on with these projects. Teacher Pay Teacher has a lot of kites that will help this be successful in my classroom.
