Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Robotics Team and Senior Class are inventors, innovators, and craftspeople. To round out our STEM workshop and crafting space, we need some very specific sewing gear to make our projects unique, customized, and polished.
Our students need sewing equipment to put the final, professional touches to their innovations.
With your donation, we would be able to get a serger to finish all our rough edges and make our hand crafted merchandise have the professional, polished look required for our exhibition and competitions.
Our machines cannot work without the tools that professional sewists and tailors use. We need quality scissors, cutting tools, notions, and thread to make out projects shine.
No crafting space is complete without storage. The sewing kit box will help our students stay organized and keep their workplace clean - which has both aesthetics and safety in mind.
No STEM school is complete without the arts - by adding the STEAM component of sewing and polishing our students can innovate, package and showcase their creations and creativity.
