My Project
Getting a new PA system will dramatically improve the sound quality of our performances and community events—but it’s so much more than that. It’s an opportunity to give every student the chance to be heard, whether they’re delivering a monologue, singing a solo, or working the soundboard behind the scenes.
This project isn’t just about speakers and microphones.
It’s about creating opportunity. A professional sound system will allow me to teach students who may not want to be on stage how to run sound—giving them hands-on experience with real equipment and opening the door to new passions and career paths.
The overarching goal of this campaign is simple:
To amplify the incredible voices, talents, and hard work of our students.
This year was my first year teaching—and the first real year of theatre at our school. Before I arrived, there wasn’t much of a program at all. But together, my students and I built something special. We staged two full productions: a winter play and a Musical Showcase. And we did it all with just one Bluetooth speaker and two handheld mics.
These students embraced every challenge with creativity, courage, and joy. They’ve created a true ensemble—supporting, encouraging, and lifting each other up every step of the way. I couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished.
Now, I want to give them the tools they deserve.
