Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in our classroom are very special. We have many English language learners in our classroom who have tried and continue to try to overcome the language barriers presented.
All of the students in our class come from diverse backgrounds and when in the classroom, they come together as a whole to work as one.
Many of our students are also students with disabilities who benefit from having multiple resources available to them in order to achieve their best self.
My Project
By having a printer and ink in the classroom we will be able to print materials when deemed necessary. Students will benefit from having color visuals where they can differentiate between images. By having color visuals, the students will also be able to match more accurate pictures to vocabulary or spelling words. The English language learners and special education students in our classroom will be able to have access to more differentiated instruction from having a printer that will print in color and provide accurate visuals. This will allow us as teachers to modify our lessons while teaching and print as necessary without having to leave the classroom.
