This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come in to class excited to learn. They have been enjoying getting to use the letter and sounds they know to form syllables and words in Spanish. They have also been so great at sorting pictures to their corresponding letter.

With these pocket charts we will be able to continue practicing our letters sounds to build syllables and words to develop our literacy abilities.

Please join our efforts to construct a firm literacy foundation so that as we grow we can become confident readers and writers who love school.
