My Project
My students, like all of us, like new and relevant classroom materials that have real application outside the school setting. DroneBlocks fits that need perfectly, students will learn three coding languages starting with Block, then working their way to Python, and JavaScript.
A successfully coded drone will take off and fly around the class autonomously following the instructions that the students coded the drones with, completing navigation challenges without human intervention.
Drones are not only a fun and engaging tool, but the applications in the classroom are proving to be extensive and inclusive.
The curriculum is extremely conducive to students with diverse learning styles by helping them explore math, science, and logic through fun and practical application.
