My Project
The educational realities of teaching in a small Philadelphia Public school in 2025, with limited resources and growing needs of our students, requires our staff to be prepared with a helpful background on creating spaces and delivering instruction to our most vulnerable students.
The DEI challenges that face our institutional organizations are real and our staff wants to have a clear and cohesive approach for supporting our students, their families, and making sure we accurately address their growing needs.
Diversity is what makes our country unique and our school is a perfect example of this growing diversity with a increasing population of immigrant families. Through this book club, we as a staff hope to achieve the goal of developing a clear plan and approach that supports all the members of our school community.
Through this approach and teacher development, our students will feel a greater sense of community and belonging in our school and the community. Our students are easily influenced by the world
