My Project
Please help me with the tools to hone in on a new skill set with books and materials to hone my skills to teach a new area. With a STEM closet for my students, I would like to have the opportunity to try new items out and the opportunity to practice them myself before teaching them to the students. I will be the student first before teaching the students. This after all is what professional development is all about, you are never to old to learn. With STEAM and STEM books and materials for me to practice with I will be able to bring a whole new set of skills to the classroom to teach a diverse set of students. Teaching students who are trauma informed, students from diverse backgrounds, inclusion settings and more, I can learn new strategies with a diverse book set and strategy books that will give me ideas on ways to introduce concepts and teaching strategies to students and fellow teachers. With your help I can achieve this and so much more.
