it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My high school is in a neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago where our students deal with a lot of stress in the community. Our building is their safe space, more importantly, my office is their safe space. By providing them with a space to sit down or even lay down, you are providing them with a space to be able to comfortably process their feelings and their lives. The books and stress toys will further allow them to explore the why's and the next steps of their academic journey.
