My Project

Problem-solving is the cognitive process of finding solutions to challenges or complex situations. This tends to include defining the problem, gathering information and data, generating potential solutions, evaluating the pros and cons of each solution, making a decision, and implementing the chosen solution. Effective problem-solving requires critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to consider multiple perspectives. Problem-solving is present in everyday situations and across all fields: business, science, personal life, and education.

There is not one single aspect in our lives where we don’t need to apply our problem-solving skills.

However, my students have missed out on those activities we took for granted as kids. Those activities that helped us to develop our problem solving skills. What are those activities? Playing board games and solving puzzles! Board games and puzzles allowed us to improve our concentration, identify patterns and enhance fine motor skill development. Today, it will do all that and more for my students. It may also reduce screen time for them as they take advantage of an opportunity to practice fundamental skills like reading, counting and following directions while enhancing creativity, and developing a love of learning.
