My Students

My kindergarten students are full of life! They love to learn new things every day. Living in a large city, school budgets are tight, and it is difficult for families to provide all the materials that students need in order to learn and grow each day. My students want to do their best and have the same opportunities as other students. They are full of life and always like to try new things. My students love projects and are very creative!

My Project

New floor puzzles will provide my students with more than just practice with problem solving. Working with floor puzzles together in a small group will also help my students learn how to work together and collaborate to achieve a common goal, a skill that will be useful throughout life! Working together with different puzzles will also help to build vocabulary. When the puzzle is complete, the students will have the opportunity to see the picture and make connections, build vocabulary and have meaningful conversations about the image that they solved. Completing the puzzles will also build confidence and pride in a job well done!
