This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic kindergartners who are full of life. They are sweet, smart, and incredibly ready to learn! They are like little sponges, coming in each day, ready to grow and understand even more about their world!

My students are hard workers who love the arts.

I want to inspire them to be more creative and to take more risks. I want them to dream big and know that hard work will help them succeed in everything they do!

My Project

My students earn rewards for positive behaviors exhibited in the classroom. The students earn stampts for their positive behaviors which can be used for items in the prize box. This helps students to learn about financial literacy. The students learn about spending and saving. Students are highly motivated by incentives in the prize box. The prizes in the prize box will be incentives for participating in class, showing leadership skills, being kind to others, remaining on task, and following classroom expectations. The items in the project are items that the students enjoy and want to purchase. The prizes are motivational tools for student success in the classroom. In addition, the prize box supports students' understanding of financial literacy.
