This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are creative, thoughtful, and incredibly kind! They absolutely love hands-on, active, and engaging projects. They come to school every day eager to learn and with a positive attitude.
My kids have chosen to come to our school for a hands-on educational experience.
An educational experience in which their culture and lifestyles will be embraced in the classroom. Each one of my students is unique, but that's what makes our classroom community all that much better.
My Project
My kids work hard ALL DAY!! They are so young, but yet they work all day long on their rigorous curriculum while staying in their seats the entire day. We are hoping to implement a prize system where kids can earn something fun for staying focused, working hard, getting their work done in a timely manner and having a good attitude. This also includes reading the most amount of books per week and completing the most amount of lessons on iReady. This will help motivate my students while rewarding them for their positive behavior.
These prizes are just the thing kids need to stay motivated throughout the day!
We are excited to provide kids with the chance to work for a prize. This positive reinforcement will encourage kids to work harder, learn more, and stay focused longer. We are so excited to see this help our kids grow more this year!
