Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title 1, High Needs Elementary School in North Carolina. Most of my students come from low income families and are academically behind. My students are in desperate need of multiplication math flash cards. I will like to provide them with flash cards to take home for nightly fact fluency practice.

I am also kindly asking if you would consider purchasing privacy dividers for our classroom.

These dividers will help create a focused learning environment for all students during assessments and independent work. During tests or quizzes, dividers can prevent students from looking at each others' work, promoting academic honesty. Dividers create a sense of personal space for each student, which can be especially beneficial in crowded classrooms. By reducing the opportunity for off-task behavior and interactions, dividers can help maintain a more orderly classroom environment. For students needing a quieter environment or specific learning needs, dividers can provide a more suitable learning space.

Overall, privacy dividers can contribute to a more focused, honest, and individualized learning experience in the classroom.
