Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Creating a focused, respectful learning environment is essential for student success—especially during testing and independent work. To support this, I am seeking your support in providing privacy shields for my students. These simple but effective tools help reduce distractions, promote academic honesty, and foster a sense of independence during individual tasks.
Privacy shields will be used during assessments, quizzes, and independent assignments to help students concentrate without the distraction of nearby peers.
They also encourage a sense of personal responsibility and help ensure that each student's work reflects their own effort. For students who may struggle with attention or feel anxious in busy environments, the shields offer a more comfortable space to work.
A class set of sturdy, reusable privacy shields that can be easily placed on student desks. These will be used throughout the school year during testing periods, quiet work time, and any activity that benefits from focused, individual effort.
