My Students
Imagine a class taking a test and then it happens. Oh no! No privacy shields to keep students focus and complete the task at hand. Please help!
I work with a large culturally and linguistically diverse group of learners.
I work with students with autism, students with specific learning disabilities, speech and language impairments, and students who may benefit from small group interventions. Close to 90% of students are eligible for free or reduced lunch and about 60% of our students are English language learners.
My Project
My students need a set of privacy shields to focus and complete their tests. They will not be able to look around the room or at their peers because their privacy shields will block their view. The Post-it notes will help my students write or illustrate their ideas regarding topics we are writing about or topics we are reading about. This will ensure my students are able to refer to their sticky notes when it's time to write and sequence their ideas. We will use the highlighter tape to highlight important words I want my students to focus on. The tape will help the books pages from getting damage. When we are working on particular vowel patterns, I will ask my students to use the highlight tape to highlight specific vowel patterns. This will help them decode new words.
