This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing kiddos. They are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! My kiddos absolutely love the positive and flexibility of the learning environment created in the classroom. Most children come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically.

Even though they face many challenges due to their low socioeconomic status, my students come to school with the desire to learn.

They are active and growing young people with lots of hopes and dreams. By giving them the proper support and caring learning environment, all students are learning and growing, regardless of their individual situations. These kiddos make me grow each day; they are my inspiration!

My Project

Can you imagine working on an essay or science report and there is no color printer in the classroom? My kids are so creative and they design the most amazing things on Google Drawings, Storyboard That, and Jamboard, but without a way to print in color and express what they are learning, the full extent of their knowledge is a mystery!

A printer would allow students to print their essays and projects to express their creativity and be able to express their knowledge.

Students are constantly creating and writing the most amazing stories in writing. We are currently studying the effects that earthquakes have on planets in our science class. Students will be able to print their essays, research reports, and put together presentations with pictures in color to share their knowledge.

Thanks to a new printer and the protection plan, students will have a new way to express what they have learned in an exciting way! Join me on this journey to make education a priority.
