Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students walk through the door each morning full of energy, ready to learn, and excited to see what knowledge they will gain for the day. I make sure to come to school ready to match that energy.
I teach at a Title I school in southern California where almost all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Eighty-five percent of the students qualify for a free or reduced-price lunch.
Despite the many associated hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their very best which I expect of each of them. They want to be in school because they want to learn, and it's my pleasure to make this happen.
My Project
Students should have their work displayed. They have done the work and it's my desire to display that excellent work.
Much of our writing comes in digital formatting and printing hard copies with this toner is how my students' work will get displayed.
These toner cartridges will help as many students and classes until the supply of ink runs out. My guess is this will help two years or two separate classes of students; one class for each toner.
My students use Google Docs for each of their writing assignments so naturally, printing is how the work gets posted on the bulletin boards.
