Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are eager to come to learn in our little classroom! Although reading is still challenging for them, they are always ready for new learning. My 1st graders are struggling with learning letter names and sounds. They also need support in printing the letters! Some still need to refine their fine motor skills.
These Lakeshore Magic Boards are perfect for my students to practice and improve their letter printing!
I plan on providing guided lessons on printing the letters. They then can use the boards and cards at an independent center for repeated practice.
