Printing the Future in 3-D!

My Students

My students are excited and motivated to try new things. They long to connect with something inside the school that doesn't involve reading or come out of a textbook.

The creativity within my students is immeasurable, but most lack the resources to demonstrate their imagination through hands-on-learning.

The key to success for these teens will largely depend on the experiences they have on a daily basis. The more we can assist in providing real world problems for these teens to solve, the more connection they will find with the community and world around them.

My Project

While attending the 2019 IETA conference, I learned so much about 3D printing and how it can impact the lives of our students.

Students will bring their projects to life through 3D printing.

Students will design and create solutions with a focus on real world problems that exist in our communities. These projects will promote collaboration among peers and build within each student a sense of responsibility for the community in which they live.

If we, as educators, can give each child an avenue to success, there is no limit or boundary to what they can accomplish for the future.
