Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are in need of a wireless color printer for our classroom. The printer is an essential tool for our classroom for various reasons. With this printer, I will be able to print various visual aides and activities, that provide differentiation support for my students. I will also use this printer to print other items such as daily work and tools for teaching important skills that are needed for the success of each student. This printer will also make our daily activities more visually appealing. My students would also be able to print their daily writing samples, classroom projects, and even our very own classroom book! A printer is an essential learning tool in my classroom!
Beyond just the simple need to print, there is also a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment that comes from students seeing their hard work in printed form.
In third grade, my students work on a lot of special assignments and projects. Having access to a color printer and scanner would increase student productivity and performance. This will help foster student creativity while bringing their special projects to life with vivid bright colors which would boost student's innovativeness.
A printer is vital to any classroom. It is a resource for teachers to plan and create fun lessons and activities to engage students in learning. Providing my class with a wireless color printer with scanning capabilities would allow the students to have the opportunity to print, produce, and display their finished work.
Donating to my project will allow my students to experience a way of creating and publishing their special projects. The display of their hard work will come alive along with the ability to personalize their writing pieces in color.
