Help me give my students two toner cartridges to keep our classroom printer alive!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are natural born scientists and explorers. They just don't know it yet! They are inquisitive, they want to learn, they're analytical, they crave new learning experiences, want to search for meaning and truth, share their own stories, and become agents of change to make the world a more verdant place. And it is my job to facilitate and give them access to the knowledge and the skills they need to get the answers and purpose they seek. We, like many public schools, struggle with purchasing new supplies, especially technology, and we must then rely on your generosity to fill in the financial and ultimately learning gaps that allow us to get the technology, experiences, and opportunities our students need to grow into passionate academics and global citizens.
My Project
Science comes alive with labs and practical, in context experiments and applications. Last year, though a generous donation we received a classroom set of Chromebooks- and while we try to fully become paper-free, some aspects of our class are much suited for paper. Hands-on labs, inquiry based experimental set-ups, investigations and current research or journal articles- all become alive on paper. Students can circle, underline, fill-in, draw, note and simply own the document making it it their own in the process of learning and synthesizing information. With a school in shortage of ink, toner, paper and even working high volume printers, we are desperately trying to make this reality happen and are in need of help.
Because of this toner, students will have access to needed classroom resources and subsequently, current, relevant and utilitarian technology to drive college-level learning.
In addition, my accomplished (we have made it to state and placed in Top 8 schools in our state 17 times in the past 20 years) Academic Decathlon team is dependent on prints for our quizzes exams and gargantuan resources that need to printed in order to be highlighted and annotated. Not only will this printer allow students to learn NOW and flourish through its possibilities, but it also gives all my college-bound students the opportunity to print any needed documents, forms right in our classroom without going through the hassle of outside printing or scarcity of supplies as we start the school year.
