This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are thoughtful, resilient, and full of curiosity. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of experiences to our classroom, which enriches our discussions and our learning community. What they all share is a drive to succeed and a deep desire to express themselves, whether through writing, projects, or creative presentations.

A printer in our classroom would make a meaningful impact on their learning by giving them immediate access to printed resources, assignments, and creative work.

Many of my students don't have reliable access to printers at home, which makes it difficult for them to turn in polished, professional-looking assignments. With a printer, they can print lab reports, research papers, and visual projects like infographics and posters that showcase their understanding in engaging, tangible ways. It would also allow me to quickly provide handouts and materials to support students who need extra help or alternative learning formats.

My goal is to create a classroom environment that gives every student the tools they need to succeed — not just digitally, but in print, where their hard work can come to life on the page. This project will help make that goal a reality and empower students to take pride in their learning.
