My Students
My students attend school at a Title I school, so a majority of the students come from families with low incomes. Some of them are learning English as their second language and having hands-on and very visual learning experiences are best to really help them get the vocabulary and be successful as they are in the later years of elementary school.
My students are full of excitement about learning and love coming to school!
The students I work with are full of great questions and really care about doing their best. Some of them are dealing with some challenges in life, but they are all wonderful kids and a joy to work with!
My Project
The students at my school are unable to print their work to the school printers, but there are times that we want to celebrate their hard work and great papers. Families don't all have computers or even internet access at home, so in order to share their writing at home, the students are very limited.
Most of the writing we are doing takes place on Chromebooks, so having this printer in class will make it possible to really let the students share their work and print their papers to display or share with their family.
The kids will benefit from having this piece of technology in our class as it will be very motivating for them to finish their writing and have the chance to go print it for a display board or to show their parents.
