My students are so full of life and love of learning. The population, of our little Title I school in New York, is made up of many different cultures from all over the world, who work together to help build peace at home, at school and in our community. They are the peace builders for the future.
They are learning to communicate and collaborate to solve problems and learn.
They are learning to have a growth mindset and know that mistakes only open another door towards the solution. They will practice these skills and more as we explore through STEAM activities.
My Project
I think it will be a great addition to our STEAM classroom to have a printer and ink. This will allow the students to print out their published work. It would even allow students to print out research information for a project or concept we are working on.
If we had a printer in our classroom, it would allow the flexibility of printing on the spot.
Currently, the closest printer is down the hall and shared among 7 classrooms.
The printer would also allow me to make a single copy for myself or a student, if needed. It can also help with students with dimensions of difference by providing alternate materials printed out.
